Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian born actress. Her fame was primarily in the United States for her performance as Felicity Smoak on The CW series Arrow. Rickards was raised within British Columbia. Her career began as a child, she was introduced to dance and theatre in the hopes of becoming more involved in acting. She finished high school earlier than expected and studied at Vancouver Film School where she was awarded the Acting Essentials Certificate. The audition was an open call following the completion of her program. This resulted in her being signed with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. The chemistry she shared was with Stephen Amell, positive feedback from the audience, as well as her humorous remarks earned her an initial signing for a single episode Guest Star.
